We sailed on Monday night.Not much fish so far hope its better today.!!

NEWS UPDATE

Sorry folks for not keeping my blog update as l usually do!!My sat phone has not been working on the boat haven,t been able to get access to the internet.Hope to get it fixed for our next trip.

Anyway we landed today after a eventful trip.We sailed last Thursday night just got off to the fishing grounds when the Lapwings salt water pump in his main engine broke .We had to tow him 40 miles to Lerwick in Shetland .He got his pump fixed quick fast and we started fishing on Saturday night .Fishing was poor first 36 hours then on Monday we got good fishing of Cod and Coley.Prices today were luckily quite good they have been poorer so far this year.We hope to sail on Monday afternoon again.

LAPWING HAULING YESTERDAY

WE SAILED LAST FRIDAY .BACK INTO PETERHEAD TODAY LANDING THIS AFTERNOON.GOOD CATCH BUT PRICES ARE NOT TOO GOOD SO WE WILL SAIL AGAIN .HAVE TO MAKE THE EFFORT AFTER OUR 5 WEEKS ASHORE!!

NEWS UPDATE

WE WERE DUE TO SAIL ON THURSDAY THE 14TH ,BUT WE DIDNT GO BECAUSE THE
FORECAST WAS VERY POOR.

WE WENT OUT TODAY BUT WE HAD COME BACK IN WITH A ENGINE PROBLEM HOPE TO GO AWAY AGAIN TOMORROW OR TUESDAY.

WE ARE STILL TIED UP IN SNOWY PETERHEAD WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY UNTIL NEXT WEEK.
