BUD UPDATE

We got into Peterhead on Tuesday morning .We were advised
by the fish buyers to land our Hake as soon as possible so
we went over to Greenhill market and landed them.Sad to
say the price of them were really poor!!Down as low as 70 pence
a kilo for our medium hake ,not near the cost of catching them!!
We landed the rest of our catch on Tuesday afternoon and
sailed again for a few more days fishing.!

We are towing Lapwing to Peterhead he has a rope
in his propeller.

We were boarded last night by the new Norwegian coastguard
vessel Bergen.Fish are scarce so far this trip.

We sailed yesterday afternoon after taking aboard the new net
which lets more small codling escape.

New Net

We are taking a new net onboard on Monday before we sail.It has been made by Jackson Trawls in Peterhead.The net has 300mm(12 inch)mesh in the wings and belly which helps small codling to pass through the mesh and escape.

4 TON HAUL

4 ton haul .mixed fish cod,coley,ling whiting ,monk.

We are just fishing away here averaging about couple ton a haul
mixture of fish whiting cod coley and a few boxes of monk

We sailed on Tuesday afternoon.Started fishing yesterday morning
We have had 5 hauls so far .best haul 6 ton mostly coley.
